The packet trace that was given here appears to be an Ethernet header and the first two bytes of an IP header. (It's a dead giveaway when the 15th byte is "45".) Obviously, this doesn't help l7-filter at all. Please be sure to start your l7-filter analysis after the Ethernet, IP and TCP headers.
