[edit] Identification

Hamachi is a UDP-based virtual private networking system. By default connects via P2P using defined TCP and UDP local ports in the program. If P2P communication cannot be achived it fallbacks to SSL and connects to a central server to pass through secure data. It also supports HTTP proxy servers.

[edit] Ports

  • [OUT] TCP 12975 & 32976 - Required to communicate to the Hamachi Central Server. Connects to CIDR: 69.25.20.0/23 (Whois 69.25.20.0)
  • [IN/OUT] For P2P communication one TCP and one UDP port is required to be enabled. These ports are defined in the application itself. (Primary method)
  • [OUT] TCP 443 - SSL Required for use as a fallback.
